About Christi

At the age of ten I was given a gift...a 110 film camera and a promise from my parents: "We'll pay to develop all the film you can buy and expose." From that point forward, nearly all my limited funds went towards film. And yet it didn't occur to me that I could do what I love for a living until friends started pointing out that I had an eye for portraits in high school. I shrugged it off for awhile but the wheels were turning and pretty soon I found myself gravitating towards everything photographic.

That was in 1999. Today I'm so blessed and happy to be fully immersed in the photographic world, surrounded by beauty and art. I do what I love and don't consider what I do to be work...it's play! My photographic passion is personalization...we're each different so our pictures should LOOK different! This makes the creation process a very personal venture, but one of my FAVORITE parts of the process...getting to know YOU! I think I enjoy piecing together the personalization puzzle almost as much as I enjoy seeing the smile on your face when you see the finished product!

Just like my clients, my life is comprised of layers. I find relaxation in playing the piano, inspiration in sunsets, and joy in family. I am insanely in love with my amazing husband, James, and together we have two energetic {and photogenic} boys. We love to go to the beach, take walks in the park, catch a movie, spend sleepless nights in deep theological discussions, laugh with friends, play card games, and eat Italian food. We are deeply dedicated to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and find the greatest fulfillment in serving Him humbly.

I'm excited to meet you! You are unique and different from anyone I've ever photographed before and I can't wait to see what kind of artwork we can dream up together!
